Steps on how to know the Estimated Cost of your proposed residential building

1. Have a plan of your proposed house with details of the following:
• Structural
• Plumbing and Sanitary
• Electrical
• Mechanical
• Architectural

2. From the detailed plan, the quantity of materials can be obtained.
• Structural materials
• Plumbing and Sanitary materials
• Electrical materials
• Mechanical materials
• Architectural materials

3. Request for a price quotation for the acquired bill of materials from suppliers or hardware.

4. Take the Total amount of materials by adding the sub-total of Structural materials plus the sub-total of Plumbing and Sanitary materials plus the sub-total of Electrical materials plus the sub-total of Mechanical materials plus the sub-total of Architectural materials.

5. Take the Total Labor cost as forty percent of the Total amount of materials.

6. Take the Miscellaneous cost as ten percent of total material cost plus labor cost.

7. The Total Estimated Cost is obtained by adding the Total Material cost, Labor cost, and Miscellaneous cost.
